SYDNEY UNIVERSITY ASSOCIATION OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERS

The Sydney University Association of Biomedical Engineers is a student-run society at the University of Sydney that facilities both social and professional development of its members while providing a platform for students to network with alumni and industry personnel alike. With over 550 student and alumni members in 2023, SUABE has been an established part of the student engineering network in Sydney for over 20 years.

OUR AIMS

The Sydney University Association of Biomedical Engineers was founded in 2004 on the initiative of Professor Andrew Ruys. It was seen that a body should be set up to represent the biomedical engineering students on campus, a group that is becoming almost exponentially larger with each year.

The society caters for the social as well as professional development of its members and is recommended for all biomedical students and anyone interested in the field of biomedical engineering.
